Day 13 – Your Favorite Villain

Well, the Master is the classic villain and my serious choice for fave Who villain. But my heart belongs to Styre, that dutiful, hard-working Sontaran from “The Sontaran Experiment.” Check out his greatest moments, in photo form, above:

He was the first of that potato-y lot that I saw, and though there have been Sontarans before and since him - and other, more formidable baddies - that guy just can’t be beat. Field-Major Styre only lasted for one 2-episode serial - but his earnest efforts to serve his Sontaran peeps and research “human physical and mental capabilities” by chaining that one dude up on to some rocks will stay with me forever.
